Our Story

Professional, Responsive, Community-Focused

EmpowerCare of Maryland is a Maryland-licensed Residential Service Agency and healthcare staffing agency. We are not a large national chain — we are a local agency focused on the communities and service pathways families and partners need.

Serving Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Prince George’s County, and Montgomery County. We care for our clients with passion, respect, and compassion.

Our Values

What Guides Us

Passion

We bring genuine warmth and dedication to every person we serve.

Respect

We honor the dignity, preferences, and independence of every client.

Compassion

We listen first and act with empathy in everything we do.

Why Choose Us

Credibility Through Clear, Accountable Processes

Each audience sees the information EmpowerCare can verify publicly: licensed pathways, five-county coverage, clear review steps, and focused points of contact.

For Families

A clear path for home-care inquiries

Families can begin with general information and understand the review steps before any service or schedule is confirmed.

  • Begin with general, nonclinical information about the support being considered
  • Confirm the Maryland county, general service category, and preferred timing
  • Requests are reviewed for current service scope and availability
  • The Care Coordination Team explains the appropriate next step

For Healthcare Organizations

An organized staffing-request pathway

Healthcare organizations can give the Healthcare Staffing Team the operational details needed for a focused review.

  • Share the facility type, role, shift, location, timing, and duration in one request
  • Request CNAs, GNAs, HHAs, LPNs, or RNs based on current organizational needs
  • Assignment-specific credentialing and documentation requirements are discussed during follow-up
  • Placement is not confirmed until availability and requirements are reviewed

For Referral Partners

A privacy-conscious referral pathway

Case managers, social workers, discharge planners, and coordinators can start a referral without sending sensitive records through a public form.

  • Use a dedicated referral inquiry for the county, service category, timing, and authorized contact
  • Referral Coordination performs a preliminary fit and availability review
  • The referral professional or authorized contact receives follow-up about the next step
  • Medical records and other sensitive information stay out of the public referral form
